The teams filmed at 20 different locations between June and August 2010 under the same production conditions: four days of filming, one week of editing.

László Kovács, auteur filmmaker, is denied funding for his film project: too old, white and heart problems to boot! Conclusion: no longer employable. Wasn’t the Hungarian from Lake Balaton aiming high? What now? Continue to be on his successful wife’s back? László slips into a real life crisis and initially finds solace in the fascinating attraction of a “crazy woman” from the neighbouring village. But when a right-wing populist stands as the only candidate for mayor in the village of 120 souls, László comes to his senses. In order to “prevent the right-wing idiot”, he puts himself forward as a liberal counter-candidate.The only question that remains is whether László’s marriage and he himself will survive the village election campaign?

Johnny Vickers is a US government agent operating in London. Vickers puts a tail on the double agent Marcel Grandet, with whom he`d worked during World War II. Grandet has during this war a fortune in jewels stolen. With these jewels Grandet intends to finance a neo-Nazi movement. Posing as a fellow fascist, Travis is able to infiltrate the villains. But will Vickers be able to return the stolen jewels and save his own skin?

In late 1990 times are changing in Zehdenick, Brandenburg: Russian troops are leaving, the German Reunification brings euphoria and new hope, but unemployment rises steadily.
